I am a Research Associate in the Department of Aeronatuics at Imperial College London working on the OncoEng project.
Although London has been my home for the last 6 years, I was born in Denmark and am fluent in English, Danish and Tamil. I enjoy running, hiking, playing squash and travelling.
Interests:Alongside my PhD and Research Associate roles I have been working as a teaching assistant for the Imperial College Business school, utilising my numerical and programming skills to help students better understand their course material. As part of the role I have taken in-person and online tutorials, provided additional one to one support for students and marking assessments. During my time as a teaching assistant I have consistently gone above and beyond to assist students in their learning which is evident through the postive feedback I have received from the students and teaching staff.
Modules:
I worked at Fidelity International for one year as a Technology Business Analyst. I was in charge of the roll out of a new analyst research platform, managing the development team in India and liasing with external vendors to ensure a seamless transition to the new platform.
In Janurary 2023 I completed my PhD on multiscale structural optimization in the Structural Metamaterials group in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London. My research was focussed on developing methods to improve the real world robustness of optimized multiscale structures.

Extracurricular acitivies:
I completed my Masters in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southampton in 2017. I specialised in Aerodynamics and was part of a group design project designing an adverse weather research aircraft during my final year. The research drone was successfully flown on over 100 occasions and shortlisted for a design award.
